Are you located in Canada?

We are a Canadian company, based in Canada and we ship from Canada.

Do you have Retail Stores and Can I Pick-Up my Order?

We are an Online Store Only.  Our warehouse is not equipped for customer pickup and therefore there is no local pickup option available.

What payment methods are accepted?

You can pay for purchases at the Wish Upon A Party website using VISA, MasterCard,  American Express or PayPal.  PayPal is only accepted for Instant Payment, meaning you can pay from your verified Bank Account but you must have a Credit Card on file with PayPal.

Credit Cards are processed using the strongest security encryption SSL256 Standard for your shopping security. Your credit card information is processed by our Secure third party online Payment Processor and is not seen by Wish Upon A Party.

Shop in Canadian or US Dollars, the US Dollar Conversion is shown in the Cart and at Check-out for your reference.

What if I live outside of Canada or the USA?

Unfortunately at this time we only ship within Canada and the USA.

What currencies do you accept?

We accept Canadian currency only, US$ orders are converted to CAD$ by your credit card  processor.  All product and shipping cost are in Canadian Dollars.  The US$ option shown on the website is for estimated cost only.  Your Credit Card provider will convert your order into US$ if you live in the USA.

How do I know my credit card and purchasing information is secure?

Your security is our priority. Wish Upon A Party uses the industry standard SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption when transmitting your payment information. With most browsers, you'll see an icon resembling a padlock displayed in the URL web address bar window during SSL transactions.  The beginning of the web address will also change from http to https.  Your Credit Card data is never seen by Wish Upon A Party, we use the World's largest third party Credit Card processor.

Any time the Wish Upon A Party Checkout process asks for a credit card number, it will be SSL encrypted, meaning your data is being encoded and is fully secure.

Will I be charged sales tax on my order?

Wish Upon A Party collects GST of 5% on all Sales in Canada (No Provincial Sales Tax! Except HST applies in applicable locations).

There is No Tax and No Duty on shipments to the USA.

How can I determine the shipping rate and delivery time for my order?

Please add all of your products to your Shopping Cart and then select the Shipping Calculator located on the right of this page to calculate both time and cost to your location.

We will make every effort to ship your order within one business day following payment verification. Verified Orders place before 11:00pm are shipped the next business day.

Shipping Business Days are Monday through Friday, and exclude Saturday, Sunday and Holidays.  Our website is open 24/7 for your shopping convenience.

Please note: If you live in the NWT, Yukon or Nunivat or an area deemed as Remote by CanadaPost we reserve the right to charge you the actual cost of shipping.  We will e-Mail you and advise you of the additional cost once your order has been place.

Can I check the status of my order online?

Yes. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an order confirmation email that includes a link for you to check your order status online.

Is my package insured, or do I need to purchase insurance?

At Wish Upon A Party we insure all our packages for loss and/or damage. So you do not have to worry about paying extra for insurance protection when you shop at Wish Upon A Party!

Is there a minimum order amount?

Yes. To have your order processed sucessfully you must have a minimum in your cart of $19.95 excluding taxes and shipping.

Shipping Terms and Conditions:

We shall not be liable for delay or failure to deliver products promptly (including the failure of CanadaPost, United States Postal Service, or any Courier to deliver within their guaranteed time frame) if such failure arises due to but not limited to force majeure or by reason of any delays occasioned by strikes, riots, lockouts or other labour trouble, war, fire, accident, mechanical failure, non-availability of manufactured stock, parts, or materials; delay or failure of delivery of the products to Wish Upon A Party by manufacturer’s suppliers or other persons; government action, legislation or regulation of any kind; Act of God, or any circumstances whatsoever outside our reasonable control.

Wish Upon A Party shall not be held responsible for any manufacturer or wholesaler related errors or omissions in packaging, labeling, manufacturing defect or shortages caused solely by the failure of the manufacturer or wholesaler.

Any order discrepancy must be e-mailed to us within 24 hours of our Confirmed Delivery receipt provided by CanadaPost.  All order discrepancies will be verified by our electronic inventory system and are subject to investigation. 

Returns and Credit:

If you have received items that you are not satisfied with, please contact our Customer Service Department via the Returns and Credit Request Page to initiate an exchange or credit. 

Requests must be made within 10 days of receipt of order. Customer Service must authorize refunds and returns in advance. All products must be returned with original labels affixed.  Some items maybe excluded from our Return policy due to Health Regulations. Returns must include the name of the original purchaser and the Order Number. Refunds will exclude shipping and handling fees.

You will require a Return Authorization Number (RAN). Due to Consumer Health Regulations we can only accept the return of goods for resale that are packaged in their original unopened sealed packaging, the product package must not have been opened. Returns of Defective items are excluded from the sealed product rule.

The package needs to be returned via a service which provides package tracking to ensure the parcel is traceable.

Once Wish Upon A Party.com receives the duly authorized return of goods, we will provide a Refund for the returned items. Please keep in mind that refunds are for the cost of the merchandise only and return shipping charges are not refundable.  We will process a refund via the method of original payment (Credit Card or PayPal).  Credits can take between 4-10 business days to be credited to your financial statement.

Delivery Confirmation: 

Confirmed delivery of your Wish Upon A Party parcel shall be recognized via the Delivery Confirmation date and time as stated on the Canada Post Tracking and Delivery website.

Order Changes:

 Changes to orders can be accepted for product additions or amendments only if the order has not already been processed.  Payment must be recieved for additions prior to shipping. Please note that changes may delay shipping of your order by one business day.

Refunds/Cancellations:

Refunds will be issued in accordance with industry standard practices, any refund or cancellation of payment will be credited back to your original payment method within 3 business days.  Orders cancelled after being packaged for shipment maybe subject to a $5.00 service charge for the cost of the box and packaging materials.
